Here’s a little about Austin’s Best DJs & Photo Booths’ history, experience and who we are. We love what we do and we love being able to help make great memories for our clients, every weekend, all year long. We also truly love helping many businesses, non-profits, schools and organizations have successful, memorable events & fundraisers, every month, all year!

About the Founder

Jason is a certified Master Teacher, (M.Ed. & MPAff) and has been a DJ since he was a kid! He has provided music and entertainment for thousands of public and private events, DJed concerts with major artists, DJed at F1, MotoGP, SXSW & ACL festivals, worked with numerous Austin radio station events, owned his own nightclub/bar, and more! He’s basically been DJing longer than most of our competitors have been in business, or even alive, in some cases! haha 🙂

Jason literally wrote the book on weddings! In January of 2023, Jason also published a book “Succeeding in the Wedding & Events Business” and has helped hundreds of DJs around the US and world to succeed in their business. He also said “if I won the lottery, I’d still continue to manage ABDJs and provide Austin wedding DJ services and DJ events, because music and entertainment are my passion!

When Jason was in graduate school, working, and also DJing in the local Austin nightlife scene, he began to do more private events and realized that the Austin DJ companies just didn’t have the same talented DJs as the local nightlife scene. He decided to change this.

Jason did his research and recruited the best, most experienced, professional DJs in the Austin & central Texas area. Austin’s Best DJs & Photo Booths was born. Jason has very high expectations and only wants the best people representing the brand! Currently, less than 1% of DJs who apply, make it onto the team. When he has time, Jason will personally DJ your wedding, quinceanera, or event.

DJ

DJ Jimmy Saucedo aka DJ Jimmy “Z” has over 30 years of experience. He specializes in weddings, Quincenera’s, sweet 15s/16s, etc. Jimmy has been a DJ since 1990 and has played along side some of the top Tejano artists, Country, and Rock Bands. Jimmy spins all genres of music and looks forward to playing at your next event!

Jaime

DJ

I have been making memories and making people dance professionally for about 14 years now. From small town bars to large college tailgates, and opening up for headliner artists at festivals. This journey has been very exciting and my passion for all genre of music has definitely lead me to providing the best service and customization for any wedding, as everyone has their own preferences, when it comes to music. I personally enjoy spinning country, Tejano, Cumbias, and Old School Hip Hop. Coolest gig I’ve done would have to be Kevin Fowler’s 50th birthday party. That was a very fun evening; however, every time I get behind the mixer, I strive to provide the highest quality service for any of my clients to ensure it is a night to remember!

Jayson has been with Austin’s Best DJ’s for 3 years and has been rocking Austin and the surrounding areas for 20+ years. Jayson is a former bar/club DJ and an amazing MC. He is also a drummer who has played in local bands. You can book Jayson with our DJ Drummer package for your wedding, quince, or event! Jayson has DJed hundreds of weddings and is dedicated to bringing his top notch mixing ability and customer service for your special event!

Shannon

DJ

With over 25 years of experience as a DJ and over 200 weddings and countless other events under his belt, Shannon Burton, knows how to approach any event with the expertise and care clients expect and deserve. In addition, Shannon has also DJ’ed for many well-known brands such Formula 1 Racing, Victoria’s Secret, NFL, Audi, and Harley Davidson. With such a diverse resume, Shannon is comfortable in front of any crowd. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, private party, or festival, Shannon knows the key to a successful event is working closely with the client to understand their true desires and delivering a true experience for all guests.

Phillip

DJ

Phil is a full-time, professional event DJ who loves collecting and mixing vinyl records. He’s been rocking parties since 2005 and has performed at more than 100 weddings. Phil was born and raised in East Austin and returned in 2018 after spending a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked at Vinyl Dreams record store and DJed at Underground SF, Raven Bar, and Showdown. In Austin he’s held residencies at Plush night club and on Shared Frequencies radio. Phil also sews clothing and is a bicycle tour leader with Adventure Cycling Association.

Cory

DJ

Cory, also known as DJ enCore, earned the moniker early is his career off of the ability to leave crowds wanting more. It is a knack he’s had for his 22+ years in the DJ business. Cory is also a DJ for Hit Radio 1047 in Victoria, TX. DJ enCore has played for major music artists, film festivals, over 600 weddings and countless other special events. His mission is to keep the beat going and the dance floor packed all day/night long!

Leonard

DJ

For over 20 years, Leonard has performed a soundtrack of hits DJ’ing for countless celebrations from Austin to San Antonio, Boerne to Gonzales, and everywhere in between! He is a true fan of music and enjoys listening to literally everything and discovering new songs and artists from all over. As a professional wedding/event DJ, Leonard puts your music needs first. His devotion to preparing and organizing a client’s playlist is highly important along with making sure he knows how to work with the event timeline. Leonard’s disc jockey resumé includes events ranging from elegant wedding receptions and anniversary engagements to festive corporate parties and school events. He also provides the perfect amount of MC announcements without sounding too chatty or obnoxious. With Leonard, you’re guaranteed to have a packed dance floor and a fun-filled memorable event!

I’m a 2nd generation mobile DJ from a very well known and established family of DJ’s in central texas. I am bilingual & have over 30 years of DJ experience. I specialize in Tejano and 80’s music. I pride myself with having a superb sound system, small or large, and an extensive music library; both are continuously updated and tailored to your needs! I look forward to performing at your event.

Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Jared started DJing because of my passion for music. He wanted to start DJing 25 years ago but life got in the way. He found his way back to it and hasn’t stopped since. Jared can do open format but house and dance music with a Latin flair is where he shines, blending each song together, always keeping the beat going. Jared loves high energy mixes and solid grooves to keep the dance floor grooving. He always strives for professionalism and service for every client.

DJ Rock’n Ruben is fluent in Spanish and has over 25 years experience providing great memories for thousands of people. Ruben looks forward to providing the same exceptional service for your next event. DJ Rock’n Ruben has the Rock’n personality to help create a memorable wedding, quinceañera or party celebration.

I’ve been a part of the event industry for 7 years ranging from weddings, birthdays and social events. I moved to Austin after graduating college in 2018 and have worked in the family business since 2017. I always add an extra flare to each event and make sure things go smoothly for both the client and the coordinator. I am always grateful to be a part of your special event and pride myself on my high customer service.

Allen and Cecilia are a husband and wife team and have been in the photo booth business for several years. They are an amazing couple and team! the operate the open-air, mirror, and 360 booth. We’re proud to have them on the team.

Jeremy is a great photographer and has been a photographer for 15 years! He also provides great open-air and 360 photo booths. Jay specializes in sports photography, as well as corporate events and business photography. Jay also does senior portraits and headshots. You can book Jay for wedding or event photography and he can also provide photo booth services at the same event, if needed!

Due to his background, Jason always strives to give back to the Austin and central Texas community. ABDJs provides special, discounted rates for schools, non-profits and churches, because we truly care about the community we live in!

We truly believe in giving back to our community in any way that we can. We’ve helped numerous schools, churches, nonprofits and organizations reach their fundraising goals and have fun, memorable, successful events! We also help with community service projects, several times per year, teaming up with organizations such as Keep Austin Beautiful and United Way of Austin.

We were recently recognized by The City of Austin and Mayor Steve Adler, for our efforts and for what we love to do! September 22, is officially Austin’s Best DJs Day!

When We're Not DJing or Trying to Save the World...

Believe it or not, Jason does have some free time, when he’s not working, providing DJ and photo booth services, or doing things related to the business. Jason spends time with his family and 16 year old son, Elijah. They watch just about every new movie that comes out. Jason also loves to go to local concerts, discover new music, do DIY home projects, work out, travel to new places, and find awesome movies on Netflix! Doesn’t everybody? 🙂
